About the position
As our new Head Payment Services, you will be part of the Operations team in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The position is critical to supporting our mission of breaking new ground in digital payments. Here are some of the tasks and challenges you will tackle:

  • Development of new payment services and products: Identification of new potential in the existing sales channels, preparation of feasibility studies, conception of the necessary measures, strategic and operational support for new products up to launch
  • Performing competitive benchmarking to ensure company’s compliance programs exceed industry standards
  • Drawing upon regulatory knowledge to quickly assess and offer risk-based solutions to difficult business/compliance issues
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all payment types
  • Managing, supervising, coordinating over all payment services and electronic money transactions
  • Working with legal teams to understand applicable regulations and regulatory risks associated with launching or changing products
  • Collaborating with internal risk management teams (AML, risk, business development) to identify steps necessary to mitigate regulatory and operational risks and provide those recommendations to management board in the form of clear requirements

About you
We are looking for a hands-on and autonomous person who has experience as Risk Manager and wants to join our motivated and all-round awesome team to help us shape the future of money. Here’s what we expect from you:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in electronic banking, e-money and/or payment services
  • Experience with working for a national regulator, e.g. central bank, securities agency would be an asset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to establish and improve processes and methods
  • Structured thinker and proven ability to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Be a team player who challenges and supports others
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in both German and English
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience
