This document defines your participation in the eActivity Program (»Program«), which is an integral part of the eWallet General Terms of Service and should be read together. In this document, unless otherwise stated below, all capitalized terms shall have the meaning assigned to them in the General Terms or other Policies in accordance with the eWallet General Terms of Service.
Any bonuses and rewards offered under the Program are offered on an “as available” basis, upon the discretion of SCE at any time and other contingencies which may impact availability of some benefits at certain times and locations. The bonuses and rewards are provided in connection with use of the eWallet app and other services described herein.
By using the eWallet app an User is automatically participating in the eActivity Program, under conditions set out below.
eActivity program enables Users to receive rewards for the usage of the eWallet app and other services made available by the SCE (hereinafter: rewards). The rewards are accredited to the User’s ECS Address in the form of eActivity tokens (“ACT”), which are per definition non-transferable tokens on the eCredits Blockchain. This feature will be enabled by a smart contract. Non-transferable means that ACT tokens can not be sent or transferred to other Users or to other addresses on the eCredits blockchain. These tokens are automatically added to User´s corresponding ECS Address. The eActivity tokens cannot be bought or sold, as it is a reward program.
The User can receive ACT for being active, when certain conditions are met, or triggered by certain events, in the system in general defined, but not limited to the following:
a User introduces the eWallet app to another User (“invite bonus”) who
actively joins eCredits via eWallet Registration or WebPortal onboarding
the new User conducted a successful transaction at a Point of acceptance, via the eWallet app (“transaction reward”).
Merchants for initiating User-Merchant transactions as specified in 2.2.
Additional eActivity bonuses and/or rewards may be applicable later on, as specified in this Program or on the Website. Such rewards are subject to be introduced and revoked at the discretion of Third-Party providers that initiate such rewards or the SCE. A Third-Party provider might require a specific opt-in request for a specific reward.
2.1 Invite bonus
Activity: Spreading the word and bring other User to the eCredits Ecosystem. When a User A introduces eCredits Ecosystem to another User B, the User A who introduces the Ecosystem receives the invite bonus if the defined conditions of the program are met. If the invited User is a Consumer, the invite bonus is granted to the introducer as soon as the invited user initiates the first User-Merchant Transaction. If the invited user is a Merchant, the invite bonus is granted, when the invited Merchant purchases a corresponding subscription for his Business Profile.
Users can introduce another user to the eCredits Ecosystem in two ways:
a) Invite via E-Mail: User invites other User via E-Mail
b) Invite via Link: User invites other user with personal invitation code/link
Invitation Type Reward*
User invites Consumer 100 eActivity (ACT) to inviter
User invites Merchant 300 eActivity (ACT) to inviter
*The reward can change at any time. If the reward accredited or shown in-app is different than stated in this Program, the in-app reward is considered correct.
The SCE reserves the right to change the eActivity structure or to add/remove a certain type of eActivity reward based on our sole discretion (for example: for promotion and marketing purposes).
2.2 Transaction reward in Consumer-Merchant Transactions
Transaction rewards are granted for successfully completed User-Merchant transactions executed via the eWallet app.
a) For CONSUMERS:
The number of rewarded ACT to Consumers equals to 1% of the amount of ECS that were executed in a User-Merchant Transaction
For example: 100 ECS in a User-Merchant Transaction results in 1 ACT rewarded to the Consumer who initiates the transaction.
b) For MERCHANTS:
The number of awarded ACT to Merchants equals to 50% of the paid Transaction fee of each corresponding User-Merchant Transaction.
For example: 1000 ECS in a User-Merchant Transaction incurs a Transaction fee of 5 ECS.
From this 5 ECS Transaction Fee, 50% represents the awarded ACT which is 2,5 ACT.
2.3 Subscription rewards
Uncorrelated to invites, Merchants are entitled to receive rewards for each active subscription purchased for their Business profile during the duration of this program. The number of awarded ACT is 300 ACT per paid subscription.
2.4 Additional rewards
Features and Services (from Third-Party providers) integrated in the eWallet app may offer extra rewards for their users, where those additional rewards can be shown in-app or published on the Website ecredits.com.
For instance, for case 2.2.b, Merchants having the eCashback feature enabled, are awarded ACT that equal to 100% of the paid Transaction fees in correlating User-Merchant Transactions.
Further variations of such rewards can occur.
For example: 1000 ECS in a User-Merchant Transaction incurs a Transaction fee of 5 ECS.
From the 5 ECS Transaction Fee, 100% of this amount represents the awarded ACT which is 5 ACT.
3. Refund Policy
Some of the User-Merchant Transactions might get refunded, if the Merchant initiates a refund.
A refund is a situation where a merchant initiates to return the previously received funds to the consumer. In this case the previously, in relation to this transaction distributed ACT shall be “burned” and removed from the User’s wallet. This means that the blockchain revokes those tokens and eliminates them in a way that no one can use them anymore. The SCE is not capable to retrieve these ACT once burned.
4. eActivity Entitlements
eActivity tokens (ACT) do not confer any certain or guaranteed rights or entitlement to the Users. The SCE has the full discretion to accredit rights, reward or entitlement that derive from ACT tokens at all times. Each entitlement in a given period of time from the holding of ACT tokens will be published on the Website If there is no announcement at a given time regarding any rewards, right or entitlement for ACT tokens, then no entitlement is deemed to exist.
Participation in the Program is automatic upon establishing an User Account, and as such can be suspended, revoked, or terminated at any time by us for any reason.
In the case the system is revoked or paused, no new ACT might be distributed among Users but accumulated ACT can be kept, hold or stored.
If your User account is terminated due to violation of the terms or if the user terminates the account, all eActivity bonuses (ATC rewards) associated with your User account and any benefits will be forfeited immediately upon termination.
If your User account is terminated due to fraudulent activity or noncompliance with terms or Policies related to the use of our Services, in addition to forfeiting all eActivity benefits associated with your User Account immediately, you cannot participate in or rejoin the Program.
6. Activity benefits changes and termination
We reserve the right to change or terminate the eActivity Program, or any part thereof, at any time without notice and without further obligations to Users, including, but not limited to modifications which: (a) govern how eActivity rewards are earned on and after the date of change; or (b) change the value of eActivity rewards. No eActivity bonuses will be earned or redeemed after the effective date of termination. Any and all changes and/or amendments to these eActivity Terms will become binding upon all members immediately.
7.Transfer of rights
SCE’s rights and obligations under this eActivity Program may be assigned or transferred by SCE to any other related or unrelated entity at any time, and performances shall be the responsibility of that entity.
The User can not transfer ACT to any other User Account or any other Address, except the one, specifically determined by SCE.
The eActivity Program and/or any of its features may be unavailable, inaccurate or interrupted from time to time for a variety of reasons. SCE is not responsible for any unavailability, interruptions or errors of the eActivity Program or its features. SCE is not responsible for unauthorized use of eActivity rewards.
The eActivity Program and all the information accessible through it are provided for information purposes only on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to, accuracy, currency, or completeness, the operation of the eActivity Program, the information, materials, content, availability, and products. All benefits and rewards made available under the eActivity Program, if any, are provided by SCE and do not modify the relationships among or between Customers and Merchants that offer goods or services, and SCE or any SCE Partners, affiliates, except as expressly set forth herein. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
